Lionel Messi inspires me because in spite his growth hormone he did not let that stop him from being fit or play professional soccer. He was able to go above and beyond and get signed by Barcelona which is one of the best teams in almost all leagues. He is also an inspiration because he started playing since he was very young. He shows how hard work and sacrifice pays off over time. He worked very hard and sacrificed many things to be where he is at this moment. He shows that anyone can achieve their dreams despite the obstacles that might be in your way. He trained every day to become the best and now he is. Hard work will pay off over time the more work you put in your dreams the more your work will pay off.
His first workout consists of stretching followed by flexibility and strength-building exercises. This includes squat jumps, rope skipping, hopping hurdles, short sprints and a five-minute run. All these exercises are designed make Messi extremely quick on his feet. His second workout consists of movement preparation which includes pillar skip, forward lunges and multi-directional lunges. A pillar skip is style of running, with your feet high in the air. Along with this he does a final run of ten minutes. All these workouts are designed to enhance quick movement over the pitch and also build up core strength, a primary requisite for a professional footballer.Following this, Messi also follows a power yoga program. Around a week before a game he follows a complex regime called carb-loading. 5 days before a game he enjoys eating a veggie soup, a day before his match he eats chicken, or fish which is crucial, 6 hours before his match he completely reduced his carbs, and 90 minutes before his game he eats something like banana apple or something that is high in fibre.
